County Down
A pilot has walked away without injury after a small plane crashed in Co Down. Ambulance crews and firefighters were called to reports of the plane crash close to the Saintfield road in Ballynahinch shortly before 3pm.. The light aircraft appears to have crash landed into a field close to a farm house.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said they responded to the incident at 2.53pm. “Two fire appliances and an officer were in attendance after a light aircraft landed in the field,” they said. ~Belfast Telegraph

Waterford City
Fire crews from Waterford City fire station attended a serious commercial incident in the city on Saturday evening 9th May and into Sunday morning 10th May. Crews battled for many hours to try to contain and stop the fire spread which was vast. Waterford City were supported by Brigades to augment their response namely, Tramore, Dunmore, Portlaw, Cappaquin, Kilmacthomas, Dungarvan fire stations and Kilkenny City Fire Brigade. ~Waterford City FB
