County Waterford
Waterford City Fire Station Red Watch responded to a car fire in Waterford City Centre Oon Saturday 14th March. Quick thinking by the driver saved a lot of traffic disruption as he pulled the car off the road into an empty parking area. Crews did have to close the road for a while as the smoke and steam from the fire caused bad visibility for drivers. ~Waterford Fire Service FB

County Meath
Gardai in Meath North dealt with seven road traffic collisions in the Navan area on Wednesday 28th January that left resources "stretched". A Garda spokesperson said units from Navan were called to three separate incidents at the same time (1:45 approx) as the collision on the bridge at the junction of the Athlumney Road and Navan-Dublin road which brought traffic to a standstill in the town and sparked a major river search after it was mistakenly reported that someone had entered the water.

County Louth
Three people were injured on Thursday 22nd January following a multi vehicle crash involving a truck and three vehilces. Fire crews from Louth Fire service, Gardaí and National Ambulance Service attended the scene.
